"In this 5x10 workshop, students will reflect on how daily choices impact our surroundings. We will explore the symbiotic relationship between environmental sustainability and personal well-being through an immersive 3D VR experience featuring student-created virtual worlds. Together, we will reflect on how conscious decision-making helps us become smarter consumers and more responsible global citizens.

The student research highlighted in this session contributes to Lehigh’s annual presentation at the UN Academic Impact Workshop. Participants will review Lehigh’s latest UN proposal and learn how to get involved. This research stems from student work in WRT 005 (Environmental Sustainability Ethics: From the Individual to the Collective Inspiring Action) and (Environmental Sustainability Ethics in the Self, Others, and the World). Building on this foundation, WRT 003 students will explore self-awareness and personal growth using a SWOT analysis—a key component of Lehigh's proposal on global higher education impact—while examining themes like the Global Happiness Index, endangered languages, and cross-cultural communication.

Please bring a laptop or tablet to navigate a 3D World!
